Little River is a charming coastal town located in Horry County, South Carolina, United States. It is situated on the northern end of the Grand Strand, just a few miles north of North Myrtle Beach and about 20 miles north of Myrtle Beach.
Little River is known for its beautiful waterfront views, fresh seafood restaurants, and its historic live oak trees draped with Spanish moss. It is also home to the annual Blue Crab Festival, which attracts thousands of visitors each year.
The town's history dates back to the late 1600s, when it was settled by English colonists who established plantations along the Little River. In the 1800s, the town became a hub for steamboat traffic, as boats carried goods and passengers up and down the river. Today, the town is a popular destination for boaters and fishing enthusiasts.
Little River has a population of around 10,000 people and offers a quiet, relaxed lifestyle with easy access to the beach and other attractions in the Grand Strand. It is a popular place to retire, as well as a great vacation spot for families and couples looking for a peaceful getaway.
